For all of you new or old Sounder Commuters if you don’t already know Summers Best kept secret (says the Sumner/Lake Tapps Reporter) stop in and “Get Wired Awake or Wine’d Down at Midtown!” Kristi Kildare the owner of “Midtown Station” started out as a coffee bar. About a year ago, she re-built and expanded into much more after realizing the need to service the daily customers wants and needs. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. All Lattes , regular coffee, desserts, muffins and wines in a nicely decorated cozy atmosphere.
You might just run into Rachel one of the Baristas at Midtown, you can’t miss her warm welcoming smile! This is very valuable information if you have a heloc. I am sure that most of you are familiar with the term “HELOC” short for Home Equity Line of Credit. Banks in the past were relentless trying to get homeowners to sign up and now that has subsided. I want to give all you homeowners a heads up! Listen to what some bankers are doing now.
They are sending out letters to home owners with Heloc’s that might read something like this:
Dear Homeowner:
Because property values in your area have decreased so dramatically this year we are forced to reduce the amount of your Home Equity Line of Credit from $50,000 to 25,000
Or even worse:
We are forced to relinquish your entire Home Equity Line of Credit.
Ouch! For some, this is going to be very painful and stressful but the fact remains that
this letter is being mailed out. It’s my belief that many homeowners will be affected
by this, banks can do this because it’s in the fine print and could read something like…..the bank has the right to “relinquish on demand” your home equity line of credit. Read more

I know with all the news media putting such a negative spin on the real estate market conditions, I wanted to put my vote in for “It’s a great time to Buy.” The buyers clearly have the advantage and bargaining power right now.
I am a Realtor that works Pierce and King County in Washington State and I see it with my own eyes that there are some really fantastic buys and very motivated sellers right now!
For all of you first time investors who wanted to buy/invest in a rental, Now is the time!
For all of you first time home buyers that wanted to buy your first home, Now is the time!
For all you true blue experienced investors, its buy low and sell high. If you don’t already have a project, Now is the time!

Hello~ my name is Lisa Corelli and I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest since I was a small child. I currently live in Puyallup WA. and have been here in Pierce County since 1999. In 2000 I set out for major change, one was getting married and the other was a career change into Real Estate. Since it’s very natural for humans to fear change I decided to jump in head first! I decided to write/blog about Sumner, Bonney Lake/Lake Tapps in Pierce County because they have been in my career so far, popular places to live, growing larger each and every day. My goal is to be able to keep my friends posted on the events, community information, growth and current market conditions. Below are where the current interest rates at, I have a friend in the mortgage business that says the rates are predicted to dip down a little bit then they will start to sneak back up. To get a great deal in the market today it’s all about the timing of it, getting the lowest price with the lowest interest rate.
